This photo was taken around 3am on a very adventurous camping trip to the mountains about a month ago. We started our hike around 12:30 am on a Friday night because we had to drive from Charlotte after work. It was an amazing scene with dark skies and and Milky Way so vivid. I now wish I stayed up later and took more shots. When we woke up there was frost all over everything so I was anxious for the sun to come up and warm me back up.
