Long Point Wintery Sunrise"I prefer winter and Fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape — the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn’t show." ~Andrew WyethThe snow relents and the clouds give way to a momentary light show on a cold January morning at Long Point, overlooking the New River Gorge Bridge in Fayetteville, West ... Spivey Falls under the stars!!Northeast Tennessee has some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in the country, but what you may not know about is the abundance of waterfalls throughout the region – beautiful, breathtaking waterfalls and Spivey Falls under the stars at night will take your breath away! With permission from the land owners I hiked down to the base of the falls late at night with a bonus of a little bit of snow and ice the going was a little slick but the reward of getting some shots of these beautiful falls at night under the stars was well worth it. Photo shot at Spivey Falls off of Spivey Mountain in Erwin, Tennessee.Check out our photo page https://www.facebook.com/JandGPhotosLikes, comments and shares are welcomed, but please do not alter the photo (crop the border and our copyright) and use it as your own.J & G PhotosNote: These falls are on private land and you need permission to visit them.
