Dogs Love Summer

And they love it for the same reasons we do . . . it’s fun to go outside, it’s fun to walk along trails and get wet in the heat. But of course canines have some other reasons to love summer too, like getting to chase stuff, to pose for the camera and to just plain relax.

For our July/August 2012 issue we asked our readers and Facebook fans to send us their images of their favorite fidos enjoying summer in the mountains. You did – and in such great numbers we couldn’t find room for them all in the issue. Here are some of the best that we couldn’t fit in.
