Writers on the Rock

Our region offers some of the best outdoor opportunities in the world, from strenuous hikes up steep paths to experience jaw-dropping views to meandering down a small trail to see a stunning waterfall, challenging climbs on ancient rocks to caring for plants and flowers that are unique to our area. This year, visit with and learn from a team of outdoor experts as you view the soaring cliffs and stunning valleys of Chimney Rock and the Hickory Nut Gorge. Join authors Marci Spencer, Tim Barnwell, Timothy Spira and more as they share their expertise and autograph copies of their books.
