VALLE COUNTRY FAIR

Saturday, October 15, 2016, the 38th consecutive Valle Country Fair, set in one of the most picturesque valleys in the North Carolina mountains, will take place in Valle Crucis. The gathering is an authentic harvest-season community celebration that revolves around quality hand-made crafts with more than 160 juried exhibitors displaying their art, home-cooked food and mountain music. Enjoy local bluegrass music, an activity area for kids offering pumpkin decorating, pumpkin bowling, photo booth and Young Artists Market, and a variety of foods such as BBQ, chili and cornbread, Brunswick stew, fresh-pressed apple cider, baked goods, home made jams and jellies and apple butter. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free and ample parking is available adjacent to the fairgrounds for $10 per car. Parking begins as early as 7 a.m. Please no pets. The Valle Country Fair is sponsored by the Church of the Holy Cross in cooperation with the Valle Crucis Conference Center to raise funds for grants to local non-profit organizations and for relief to local families with emergency needs.
