The Ghost Walk!
to
Salem Museum 801 East Main Street, Roanoke, Virginia 24153
It's the 19th year for our ever-popular Ghost Walk! Tickets for the Ghost Walk in East Hill are limited and expected to sell out again this year.
Guests will visit Salem’s graveyards to meet characters from Salem’s past and learn about our region’s history. On October 4-6, walking tours of East Hill Cemetery will leave the Salem Museum between 6 and 8 PM. The East Hill tour will introduce visitors to both new spirits and old favorites--men and women buried at East Hill and East Hill North, including early settlers from the Colonial era, Confederate soldiers, and a resident of Salem's historic African American neighborhood.
All events are family-friendly, fun and informative, but not designed to be scary. Tickets are $10 adults; $5 students; age 3 and under free. Proceeds benefit the Salem Museum & Historical Society. Tickets are not refundable.
Visit the Museum's web site for more information. In case of rain, the event will be held at the Salem Museum. The Ghost Walk continues October 11-13 at Sherwood Memorial Park, with a different set of ghosts performing in Sherwood's Amphitheatre!
Note: We are located in Salem, Virginia, not Salem, Massachusetts or any of the other Salems!
