Technology and Architecture Tour

This educational tour sheds light on a number of technological advancements employed at Upstate plantations before the Civil War - ventilation, food preparation, water collection, insect damage prevention, and field drainage. The tour also highlights Greek Revival features, architectural changes and how it is used to enhance the limited technology available.
