Old Fashioned Christmas

Dahlonega's Old Fashioned Christmas is a month-long celebration set into motion on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, with the Lighting of the Square. Plenty of festive holiday events continue almost daily with caroling, entertainment, wine sampling, and live theater events. A live nativity scene with animals will be on display at the Park Place Hotel on the Square, and kids can visit with Santa every Saturday and Sunday afternoon. During your visit, ride an old-fashioned trolley and take a horse-drawn carriage ride through town. Other events include a parade, and a Sleigh Bell Tour of inns and bed and breakfasts.
