The Heritage Festival celebrates the history of mountain culture of Union County. Over sixty mountain arts and crafts vendors. Food Vendors, BBQ, kettle corn, homemade ice cream, tomato sandwiches, etc. Music all weekend. Civil War re-enactors. Demonstrations on quilting, spinning, basket making, chair canning. Farm animals, Gold panning, marble shooting, much much more. Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Located at the Mountain Life Museum (one block south of downtown) 24 School Street
