A living history festival with storytellers, historic character portrayals, demonstrations, vendors, skirmish reenactment, civil war era ball, music, one act play, and great food.On Sept.5 , Education Day is scheduled with local Elementary students invited. A campfire jam session will be held later that evening at 6:00 pm. The festival continues through the weekend with Cornstalk, Harriett Tubman, Robert E Lee , and Abraham Lincoln scheduled to make presentations.Storytellers, blacksmith, spinning wheel, woodworking and salt maker demonstrations will go on throughout the festival, The one act play is scheduled for Sat. And Sun.Also the skirmish reenactment is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. A civil war era ball is scheduled for Sat. Evening and Church service Sunday morning.
