Lake Lure Olympiad - 10K Dam Run

Beginning at Ingles Supermarket on Route 9, this challenging 10K then heads east on Route 64 and onto Buffalo Shoals Road. Cross the famous Lake Lure Dam, and follow the winding route up and down along the scenic shore road to finish on the Beach at Rumbling Bald Resort, where your cheering spectators await. This early evening run gives you a spectacular and athletic tour of some of our most beautiful spots.

Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the Top 3 finishers in each age group. Every participant will receive a 2015 Commemorative Olympiad T-Shirt (provided you have registered by August 1st), an iced neck towel at the finish line, and post-race food and drinks!
