Greater Richmond Walk for Wishes

Powered by wish families, volunteers, donors and friends, Walk For Wishes is a nationwide Make-A-Wish® signature fundraiser that celebrates the thousands of wishes that have already been granted, while raising funds for future wishes. Greater Richmond Walk For Wishes is a community-wide event. Walkers of all ages will come together at Dorey Park and enjoy a day that includes a short 2 mile walk, as well as many other family-fun activities, music, face painting, balloon art, food and more! By participating in the Greater Richmond Walk For Wishes, you can help bring the life-changing impact of a wish to children battling life-threatening medical conditions right here in Virginia. Your support will provide what every child should have: a moment to just be a child, to dream, laugh, play and be free of a routine of doctors, hospitals and treatment. On June 15th, 2013, our Chapter granted its 4,000th wish! With your help, we will grant 4,000 more.
