Georgia Mountains Farm Tour

Georgia Mountains Farm Tour June 15 & 16, 2013; 1-6pm. Tour North Georgia's sustainable local farms in Rabun, Habersham, White, Stephens and neighboring counties; buy food right from the farm; learn about sustainable agriculture; enjoy lunch or dinner at one of our local food meal stops. Activities include wagon rides, fishing, u-pick, games and guided tours. Tour guests will observe a variety of sustainable production methods. Passes are $30 per carload before June 1, $35 after. Meals and fresh produce available for purchase at many locations. Tour passes can be purchased online through www.soque.org or at locations throughout the region: Clarkesville: SRWA office, Clarkesville Farmers Market; Clayton: Simply Homegrown, The Root Cellar; Alto: Jaemor Farm Market; Clermont: Mountain Fresh Creamery, and Longcreek, SC: Chattooga Belle Farm.
