Gathering in the Gap Music Festival

"Gathering in the Gap" is a music festival to celebrate the rich tradition of old-time and bluegrass music found in Southwest Virginia. Activities include competitions, jams, and performances by locally and regionally known musicians. There will also be craft and food vendors, a children's area, and a variety of exhibits in the museum itself. The day's events will culminate in main-stage performances by The Seldom Scene, Ellis Dyson & the Shambles, and If Birds Could Fly. Free of charge except for the evening's concert; tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate.
