Festifall at Walnut Grove Plantation
to
Walnut Grove Plantation 1200 Otts Shoals Rd. Walnut Grove Plantation, Roebuck, South Carolina 29376
Walnut Grove Plantation comes to life the first weekend in October as over 200 re-enactors, storytellers and artisans transform the 1765 homestead into a living colonial village. The event features music, dancing, toy making, cooking, weaving, woodworking, basketry, candle dipping, and much more! Re-enactments of loyalist partisan William Cunningham's deadly 1780 raid on the Plantation and 18th-century military demonstrations will take place both days and are not to be missed! Authors Sheila Ingle, Jack Parker, Kathy Cann and Mary Ann Solesbee will be on hand signing books for all ages, and Bubba's BBQ will offer tasty victuals for those with a discerning palate. Don't miss the biggest and best living history event in South Carolina!
