Enjoy great food and wine, delight in the music of the season, and shop local artisans for your holiday wish-list.
From 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, there will be a street fair, live music, artisan market and authentic Italian cuisine downtown on the corner of Monroe and Adams streets. Indoor seating will be available in the old Firehouse building on Monroe Street.
Schedule of events:
- 11:00 a.m. - Opening remarks from Nikki Lewis, Main Street Fairmont Director. Blessing, National Anthems. Artisans, food, and wine vendors will be set up on Monroe Street and inside Gatherings.
- 11:15 a.m. - Fairmont State University Academy for the Arts
- 12:30 p.m. - Brandon Leroy
- 1:45 p.m. - Sam Manno
- 2:30 p.m. - Morgantown Sax Quartet
- 3:45 p.m. - Mary Francis Beto Smith
- 5:00 p.m. - Fairmont Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Fairmont Lions Club. The parade will start on 4th Street and Fairmont Avenue, proceed on Adams Street, turn right onto Jefferson Street, cross the Million Dollar Bridge and end at Palatine Park.
- 5:30 p.m. - Mass, Saint Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church at 407 Jackson Street
