Drawing & Composition: The Figure in Environment Workshop led by Deborah Johnson Kidwell

The Transylvania Community Arts Council will host this one day workshop taught by Deborah Johnson Kidwell from 10 am to 2 pm. The morning session will cover drawing and composition studies at 4 work stations (gesture study, negative space, unit measures, and values). The afternoon session will include color work in medium of choice.

Students are asked to bring their lunch. There will be a maximum of 10 students. The cost is $40 plus $5 fee for materials. Supplies needed include: 4 B graphite pencil, sketch pad, eraser, inexpensive 8 x 10 mat, and photos of a figure in setting.
