Craft Demonstration: Needle-Felting Fall Pumpkins

Watch Asheville artist Karen Kennedy needle-felt fall pumpkins using locally dyed wool. Karen is a graduate of Haywood Community College's Professional Crafts Program who enjoys weaving, dying and felting for "pleasure and profit.” She says, "Little bits of nature are always my inspiration, and I love translating what I see into a fiber piece of some kind...this time it's pumpkins.” Karen’s cute creations are crafted in a variety of sizes and will be available for sale during her demonstration.
