Christmas in the Country at Exchange Place

Fresh greenery and trees, handcrafted wreaths and roping, unique folk arts and handcrafts, herbal products and traditional holiday foods will be on sale.  The celebration also features hands-on activities for all ages and demonstrations of hearthside cooking and baking on the 19th century farmstead.  The traditional Yule Log Ceremony begins at 4:15 pm and features the singing of carols around the bonfire, and a cauldron of wassail.  Admission is free.  For more information, call 423-288-6071 or visit www.exchangeplace.info.
