A ten-day - two weekend festival of FREE interactive shows by nationally acclaimed historical interpreters. Non-stop live history and fun for the whole family. 5 different shows about 5 different characters, performed multiple times at different venues. Evening shows - outdoors or indoors. Afternoon shows - indoors. Morning discussions with the performers. Meet DAVY CROCKETT - the backwoods frontiersman who almost became President, SUSAN B. ANTHONY - the disenfranchised spinster who challenged the law of the land, HERMAN MELVILLE - the whale ship deckhand whose voyages became world classics, MALCOLM X - the ghetto hustler turned human rights activist and martyr.
