Centennial Celebration

Join us for the 100th Anniversary Celebration of North Carolina State Parks on the mountain where it all began! A variety of educational programs, cultural demonstrations, and musical performances will be ongoing throughout the day. Please check back online regularly for more details.

Note: Due to limited parking availability, no personal vehicles will be permitted into the park on this Saturday, August 27th. Shuttles from locations in Marion, Burnsville, and Asheville will be provided at no cost for those wishing to attend our event. Please check back regularly for details at ncparks.gov
