Carving Whimsical Houses in Cottonwood

The Jacksonville Center for the Arts 220 Parkway Lane South, Floyd, Virginia

Students will learn carving safety, making various cuts with a carving knife, using resource material for form and detail ideas, and finish the carving with acrylic paint or lacquer. Carvings will be done in Cottonwood. Experienced carvers can work in more delicate details as well.
