Candy Cane Express at the Virginia Museum of Transportation! Saturday, December 6 from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, December 7 from 1 pm to 5 pm. The most affordable holiday family event returns! Take a ride on the Candy Cane Express. Take your picture with Santa. Make an ornament for your holiday tree. Hear holiday stories from the Roanoke County Children’s Library and Evvy the Elf. Holiday music and fun for the entire family! $5 per person. Museum members and infants 2 and under admitted free. Train Rides: Operated by the Roanoke Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. $2 per ride per person, including Museum Members. Infants 2 and under ride for free.
