Buchanan Carnival

Rediscover life in small town America during Buchanan's 61st Buchanan Community Carnival. This event was voted as one of the "Best Community Events" by readers of the Roanoke Times Botetourt View. Explore our midway where you will find family oriented Games, Rides provided by Coles Amusements, and great Food including our famous Fries! Each night features live music and or dance performances.

Activities begin on Thursday, June 26 and run through July 5th. (The Carnival is closed on Sunday, June 29th.) For additional information on advance tickets and discount coupons call the Buchanan Town Hall at (540) 254 - 1212.

Buchanan's Fireworks Displays are scheduled for Friday, July 4th and Saturday, July 5th.

Buchanan Fourth of July Parade: Main Street will close at 5:00pm on Friday, July 4th for line up of the Buchanan Fourth of July Parade. The Parade will begin making its' way up Main Street beginning 6:00pm, with the parade being led by the Botetourt County Sheriff's Department Color Guard. Parade Entry Trophy winners will be announced from the Music Stage following the Parade. Winning Entries may pick up their Trophies from the Ticket Booth.
