Blue Grass Valley Music Festival

The Blue Grass Valley Music Festival is a family-friendly event that supports economic development, tourism, and the cultural integrity of Highland County, Virginia and its surrounding area. Aside from its breath-taking views, the three day event differs from other festivals taking place throughout the summer in that organizers have made a commitment to think with mountains on the mind.  From rock n roll to old-time, from swing to bluegrass and blues, this year’s line-up offers listeners a variety of acts to satisfy diverse musical tastes, all the while celebrating the rich talent that’s alive and well throughout Appalachia. And while music certainly lives at the festivals core, it isn’t the only thing the Blue Grass Valley Music Festival has to offer.  From farm-fresh food to local artisans; primitive camping to regional brew, each year this event will prove to be much more than a music festival. It’s an opportunity to give back, to enjoy summer and music in the Blue Grass Valley, all the while celebrating the life and culture in the precious mountain region it calls home.
