to
International Storytelling Center 116 West Main Street, Jonesborough, Tennessee 37659
Anne Rutherford’s enchanting, funny and touching performances delight audiences with Pacific Northwest folklore and tales of personal adventure. Her singing and mandolin playing add to the fun, along with vivid vocal and physical characterizations such as her original Wild West alter-ego, the adventurous Clementine Ryder.
Three-time first place winner of the NW Folklife Liar’s Contest, she recently took first place in the 2015 NW Tall Tales Challenge. Rutherford’s new, one-woman Alice in Wonderland show is based on her book, Alice on the Hero’s Journey, and her CD, The Habit of Joy, is a 2015 Storytelling World award winner.
