The Impact of Climate Change on Food Production
The talk features Warren Wilson College sustainable agriculture professor Laura Lengnick, author of the forthcoming book Resilient Agriculture: Cultivating Food Systems for a Changing Climate and lead author of the recent USDA report “Climate Change and U.S. Agriculture: Effects and Adaptation.” Lengnick will give a talk on climate change impacts on the U.S. food system.
Lengnick’s talk will be immediately followed by a panel discussion featuring local food system and climate change leaders who will share their work to understand and prepare for climate change and to build resilient food systems.
