Hendersonville Stakeholder Meeting

The public is invited to attend a stakeholder group meeting at Hendersonville Middle School on Saturday, January 30, 2016. The City of Hendersonville is studying transportation circulation around the 9th Avenue area and are gathering targeted stakeholders to provide input and feedback to guide the study’s development. The goal of the study is to develop a comprehensive strategy to improve driving, walking, and cycling circulation in the 9Th Avenue area. The public is welcome to attend at any time between 10am and 1pm. The session schedule is as follows:

10am – City, NCDOT Division 14, hospitals, and colleges

11am – Schools, police department, and residents

12pm – Open house

1pm – End

During the sessions project team members will briefly provide background information on the study and then facilitate a discussion to identify the challenges and opportunities for improving transportation circulation in the area.
