AIDS Quilt is Coming to Asheville
WNCAP, the Western North Carolina AIDS Project is dedicated to preventing new cases of HIV/AIDS and promoting self-sufficiency in people living with AIDS through client support, prevention services, education, and advocacy. They have a lot of great events coming up, including hosting the Nobel Peace Prize nominated NAMES PROJECT AIDS Memorial Quilt. The quilt was also subject of the Academy Award winning documentary, Common Threads: Stories from the Quilt.

Asheville Renaissance Hotel
Make sure to come to the reveal party on Monday, November 23 at 6pm where co-founder of the NAMES PROJECT Mike Smith will speak. There will also be musical performances, and a new quilt panel induction ceremony.
