13th Annual NC Blackberry Festival

There isn't anything that says summer better than blackberries! Join us for our festival to enjoy the smells and taste of blackberries when our scrumptious blackberry cobbler is served after our World's Largest Patchwork of Blackberry Cobbler Parade (while they last!). We also have the Blackberry 5K and Fun Run for you athletic types, and Parkin' Lot Picking contests for you music lovers! And, in addition to the quality arts and crafts vendors, we have a large farmers market full of locally grown fruits and vegetables. Are you an over-achiever and you don't just don't want to come, you want to participate? We have lots of ways for you to get involved! Enter in the blackberry recipe contest, register your young-in for the Blackberry Princess Pageant, challenge yourself in our Blackberry eating contests, or bring your instrument and be a contestant in the Parking Lot Pickin' contest.
