The Race is Komen Virginia Blue Ridge's premier fundraiser so we can help offer funding to screen, treat, educate and support underserved women, men and families in Southwest & Central Virginia throughout our entire 32 city and county service area. WHY RACE? Because every 74 seconds a life is lost to breast cancer. WHAT IS THE RACE? It's an opportunity to raise critical funds and awareness, celebrate survivors, and honor those who have lost their battle. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? Anyone of any age at any athletic ability!
