Spring sunset on the Balsam highlands-- Shining Rock Wilderness, NCEvery bit of my focus was placed on the narrow gap between the mountaintop and that long, dark cloud, wondering what might happen if the sun emerged briefly before sinking out of sight. Just moments prior, the entire landscape lie in grey shadow.
