If you have ever traveled in Blue Ridge Country, you have no doubt seen a barn with it's roof painted to advertise Rock City at Lookout Mountain, GA. The original iconic symbols were painted by one person from 1935 to 1969 and are still visible today. This one is located on the edge of a canola field near Rydal, GA.

"Alone in the Crowd"There was some great fog up on the parkway today so I went to visit an annual stop to check on the trillium. It was just getting started but the Mayapple was coming up too, and it covers the forest floor in this place. Large-flowered Trillium typically blooms white and then turns pink with age, in this place they often are pink when they first come out
