05 October, 2015 - "Fields of Fire on Dolly Sods Wilderness"Three is a charm. Autumn of 2013 and 2014 came and went without a good sunrise during the peak color of the mountain top Huckleberries and Blueberries of Dolly Sods Wilderness. 2015 was the exception. Not only did we get a quality sunrise but a nice sea of fog in the Potomac Valley graced us as well.Facebook Shares, Likes, Comments and Page Invites are encouraged and most certainly appreciated.Thank You,BK Photography

Chasing Fall......with my best buddy Chaser the beagle on a Floyd County country road. After many days of rain and clouds it was nice to take a walk, soak in some sunshine, and admire the changing fall colors. Share if you'd like.

Good Afternoon FriendsAfter the three weeks of non-stop rain, the sun finally came out for a beautiful day on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We decided to hike up one of our favorite spots near the Linn Cove Viaduct on the Rough Ridge Trailhead (Milepost 302.8) The foliage survived well through the 50mph gusts from the past weekend.www.NomadicTravelerPhotography.comFeel free to share!

Went up to Graveyard Fields on the Parkway a couple weekends ago. The color was coming along pretty well and I'm sure there's more now. This is Second Falls, just a short hike from the parking area.
