"Road Less Traveled"A shot from this past Sunset Workshop at Waterrock Knob!Tech Info: Canon 7D, Tamron 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD, 1/8 sec at f/18, ISO 100, shot at 150mm focal length. This is one image, with a levels adjustment, gamma adjustment, and a high pass filter applied for sharpening in PS. Thats it! When the light is perfect its all you need! Funny thing is I did not see this with me eye as I scanned around during my workshop. It was only when I was looking through my long lens that I saw the sunlight highlighting all of the tops of the trees as it skimmed across on its way down. So be aware and keep looking around even if its with your lens!

Waterfalls and Back Roads of North Georgia
High Falls in the Dupont State Forest near Brevard, NC. One of the big ones around. Fairly easy hike of a mile or so gets you to the base.
