Leisure Publishing design intern Nomin Enkhbold spent a day hiking and boating at the Carvins Cove Natural Reserve.

The Carvins Cove Natural Reserve is made up of 12,700 acres in Botetourt and Roanoke Counties in Virginia and is a popular recreation area for hiking, biking, fishing and boating activities. The Carvins Cove reservoir provides drinking water to many of the residents of the Roanoke Valley.
