The classic imagery of Norman Rockwell’s iconic illustrations help ring in memories of family and holiday celebrations.
Nothing says “holidays” like the iconic images created by America’s most prominent 20th-century illustrator, Norman Rockwell, and the distinctive “Norman Rockwell’s Home for the Holidays” exhibition brings more than 40 of these most memorable illustrations and FOUR ORIGINAL OIL PAINTINGS to Greenville, S.C., just as holiday festivities get under way!
This unique display, making its South Carolina debut at the Upcountry History Museum, showcases a variety of the different holiday illustrations Rockwell created during his 47-year affiliation with the famed Saturday Evening Post magazine, while the four full-sized original Rockwell paintings help draw visitors into the nostalgic depictions reflective of the holiday season.
In addition to the paintings and illustrations, the exhibition will also feature artifacts on loan from the Norman Rockwell Museum.
