Summer at Price Lake

"Baptizing Hole under the Milky Way"It's called "the Baptizing Hole" but I haven't actually seen a baptism there since I was a kid. I've photographed the place under many weather and lighting conditions, so I thought I'd photograph it under the Milky Way (Monongahela National Forest, West Virginia).

Don't get clear enough nights during the summer to photograph the milky way very good but last night was amazing outside of Roanoke VA near Bent Mt off the parkway... This was 1 of 80 shots I did for a new timelapse movie Ive been working on, such a beautiful night.....

"Peeking Over" I caught this the other night hubby n me taking an evening drive!! He thought He was hidden from view! LOL (Thought I'd share!!)

Light on the Trail.During my North Carolina - Tennessee vacation a few weeks back, I made two separate trips to the Roan Highlands for sunsets. On this particular evening, I was making my way through Engine Gap on my way up to Jane Bald, when I noticed the sun getting ready to sink below the summit of Round Bald. I got down on my belly and noticed a nice sunburst reflection coming off a puddle in the Appalachian Trail. Taking the camera off the tripod and setting it directly on the ground was the only way I was going to be able to capture the scene, so I leveled it the best I could with a few flat stones and snapped off a few shots before heading on up to Jane Bald for my sunset.
