Happy First Day of Fall.Grassy Creek Falls - Oct, 2014This waterfalls is located near milepost-334 of Blue Ridge Parkway near Little Switzerland, North Carolina. Though it is in a private property, the waterfall is open for public. Its about 1.5 miles of round-trip hike from the parking lot ( and the parking lot is just off the parkway). At the end of the trail, there is a steep rocky path which you can hike down to get near the falls and that is where I took this shot. I was alone at this place when I went there (as it may not be a common place for many tourists) and it was a magical experience.
