Today's "Throwback Thursday" image is a post from August 11th of last year, a sweet sunset high atop Jane Bald in the Roan Highlands of North Carolina.Return to Roan.I still have a few images to post from my trip to the Roan Highlands down in North Carolina/Tennessee back in June. I missed the peak of the rhododendron bloom, but still managed to catch a couple sweet sunsets high up on Jane Bald along the Appalachian Trail. If you like this image then feel free to share and if you wish, give my photography page a "Like". Thanks for looking!

Devil's Fork in Scott County, Virginia has one of the finest swimming holes you will ever see. Just upstream from this lies the popular Devil's Bathtub. It won't be much longer until time for a dip!

Beautiful evening cloud color from Sparks Lane! While watching the sunset unfold in front of us, we turned around to see that the clouds behind us were turning pink. This made such a nice scene to end another beautiful day in the cove. Photo shot 3-15-15 in Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Photo from our page https://www.facebook.com/JandGPhotos.
