An extraordinary experience for Len and Ric!
Evidently, it was the perfect Christmas present. From the crowds on a freezing and wet Saturday in Blue Ridge, Georgia, everyone knew this but me, and they were redeeming those gifts! Men were giddy with excitement; even women couldn’t wait to take their turn.
There are only two places in the United States where you can replace cars and trucks with tanks and loaders. One is Minnesota; the other, Blue Ridge, Georgia. Tank Town USA serves as therapist to thousands every year. Driving tanks and crushing cars for an afternoon erases all built-up stress, and if you’re lucky, makes you fall in love with whoever gave you this gift all over again. You’re driving a tank, by gosh! Life is so good!
Owner Todd Liebross admits that “no one has ever left that I thought had a bad time.” Taking the controls of a FV432 Armored Personnel Carrier might not seem like a big deal, and when we first arrived, had our own doubts. It was only circles and mud. However, once behind the controls, the rush became obvious and undeniable. Whether you choose to drive a tank or go for the gold and crush cars, no one leaves disappointed.
Come along as we visit Tank Town USA in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Meet Todd and hear from the drivers who had a blast! If unique is on your 2015 travel itinerary, Tank Town is the place. Reservations are recommended.
