Russell County Fair and Horse Show

The Russell County Fair and Horse Show features an array of events, something for everyone of any age to enjoy. Events include a carnival, pageant, award winning horse shows, draft horse pull, lawn mower races, two nights of pro rodeo, livestock events, demolition derby, antique tractor pull, truck pull, pet agility, pet show, home economics, agriculture, art & photography exhibits, cooking competitions, barn quilt square contest, Ole McDonald's Farm and entertainment showcasing local and nationally known entertainers including country, bluegrass and gospel music performances. Special interest days include Veterans Day, Special Needs Day, Senior Citizens Day and Kids Day. This year's fair theme is "Jammin at the Fair!"
