Christ's Church
While not in BRC territory, it is the smallest U.S. church.
Since we travel to West Virginia, we took a particular interest in the May/June 2013 issue dedicated to the state. One thing mentioned – the claim of Our Lady of the Pines in Thomas to be the smallest church in the 48 states – may well not be true. We’ve visited Christ’s Chapel near Brunswick, Ga., which also lays claim to the “smallest” title. The 1949 structure is 10 feet by 15 feet, whereas the West Virginia church is 11 feet by 16 feet. –Larry and Agnes Shank, Floyd, Va.
