The Virginia Science Festival brings together the worlds of science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM). At the Virginia Science Festival in Roanoke, thousands of families will come face-to-face with amazing research and technical achievements from Virginia’s educational, non-profit and for-profit institutions, and enjoy hands-on experiences designed to inspire all ages about the wonders of science. Organized by the Science Museum of Western Virginia, the Virginia Science Festival in Roanoke is on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 am – 4 pm. The honorary co-chairmen of the festival are U.S. Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine. There will be independent events all over the state beginning September 26 and ending October 30. See the Virginia Science Festival website at http://virginiasciencefestival.org/ for more details. Our goal is to provide families from around the commonwealth hands-on experiences, live performances, interactive demonstrations and techno entertainment that will inspire a wonder in science for all ages.
