Lynchburg Historical Foundation will be in the Garland Hill Historic District for their annual “Ghosts of Historic Lynchburg” walking tours. Our guides will delight and entertain you with stories of the haunts of days gone by. The stories vary from “What is a ghost?” footsteps on the stairs, cold spots & fragrance of lilacs, music & laughter, tinkling chandeliers and much more. After the tour participants will enjoy refreshments at 300 Harrison Street. Tickets will go on sale at 6:00 each night. First come, first served. Tours will start at approximately 6:30 and will take about one hour. Sorry no rain dates. Group reservation for 10 or more may be made in advance by calling the Foundation office.
Tickets will be $10.00 adults and $5.00 for children 11 and younger.
Proceeds of this event this year will go the Lynchburg Historical Foundation and the Garland Hill Neighborhood Association. This event is sponsored by Whitten Funeral Home.
