Take a Child Outside Week is a national movement started in NC that features special Ranger-led programs at N.C. state parks. Fun hikes or nature education programs introduce children and families to the outdoors and healthy activities. Activities offered daily and open to the public. Check out our special family programs on Sept. 27-28. Full schedule at chimneyrockpark.com.

Cost: One free child admission with each paid regular-price adult. Some events are free.
