Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival

Free Live Music. Venues throughout Gatlinburg for 4 days with songwriters performing and telling you the story behind the songs you hear on the radio.  PUBLIC INVITED.

Come "Celebrate our Appalachian Musical Roots".  Songwriter Opportunities include Song Competition, Band Playoff, Stage Spots and a Workshop Series.  All genres welcome.  Songs must be your own original music. 

The SMSWF Mission is to promote songwriters and to help their talents and songs be discovered not only by publishers and producers, but also by all of us fans, who simply love the songs that the stars perform.
