Paws in the Mountains Gala

This is the first annual Paws in the Mountains Gala. There will be fine dining, cash bar,50/50, silent auction, and door prizes. Country music band MoonlightDrive will be performing after dinner, so bring your dancing shoes!Canaan Valley Resort has discounted rooms available for anyone attending our event. All proceeds will go directly to Animal Friends of Barbour County.

Animal Friends of Barbour County is an organization of volunteers who are dedicated to saving the lives of surrendered, abused, neglected, and stray companion animals in our rural West Virginia community.

As of July 1, 2014 our organization entered its 13th year of operation.

Each of our volunteers takes pride in knowing that because of our efforts and the efforts of our network of rescue groups, thousands of Barbour County animals have found homes with families that love and cherish them.

We are a non-profit organization that relies solely on generous donors, an ambitious fund raising agenda and grant money to finance our operation.
