Marble Springs State Historic Site will host a hands-on gardening workshop with Jim Buckenmyer on Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 11:00am until approximately 2:00pm with a lunch break. Participants should bring their own lunches, and something to share with the group.
Learn how things were when organic gardening was just called gardening. The kitchen garden was a staple of survival for the people of the frontier. Planting and caring for the garden was big part of their lives, but it could reap big rewards.
To register, call 865-573-5508 or email firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Wednesday, March 27th.
