Bona fide national storyteller John Fowler teaches the five simple steps in developing a written story from text into the spoken word. Participants will develop their own traditional Aesop fable, process it through the storytelling mill and present it to the class as a finished product in Storytelling 101. A great class for teachers, librarians, home school parents, early childhood educators and the general public. An Appalachian storyteller and award-winning old-time musician, John Fowler has shared his talents at festivals, classrooms and performance halls coast-to-coast for 25 years. Advance registration required. For ages 16+.
